Platinum Jubilee Weekend
I started my Platinum Jubilee weekend with a walk up Beacon Hill on Thursday 2nd June to join the Chairman of Leicestershire County Council, as he lit the Beacon to start the chain reaction of beacon lighting throughout the county.

Paul handed over his chains of office to the new Mayor of Charnwood at the Charnwood Borough Council Annual meeting on 23rd May 2022.
Paul's mayoral charities for the year were Living Without Abuse and Marie Curie.
We are pleased to announce that we have been advised by Post Office Counters that they have now finalised their plans for Anstey Post Office, which will re-open on Thursday 7th July 2022 at 13:00.
