A campaign has been relaunched to support people and communities in Charnwood who are struggling with the cost of living.
Charnwood Community Action was set up by the Borough Council and partners during the pandemic and it is being kickstarted once again to help communit

We are aware that Lagan Homes Group, which have recently acquired Cawrey Homes, have launched a public consultation regarding proposals to submit an outline planning permission to Charnwood Borough Council for up to 80 houses (Figure 1) on land off Gorse Hill, Anstey.

There is new planning application proposed for 48 houses to the north of Pollards Road, Anstey.
This is in addition to the 920 houses proposed on land off Groby Road and Bradgate Road.

First Bus have announced timetable changes to some of their bus services which takes effect week commencing 28th August 2022.
The main difference is that the buses will move from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes.
