Borough Council Election Results - May 2023.
It is our pleasure to announce that our three existing councillors Deborah Taylor, Paul Baines, and David Snartt have been re-elected in the Borough Council elections for the Bradgate division, to serve another 4-year term.
We are delighted to be able to congratulate them all on being re-elected with such a large majority, higher than in previous years. These results are due to the hard work and diligent efforts helping our local residents in their Councillors role over the past 4 years.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank our hard-working volunteers who helped our candidates in the eight weeks leading up to election day, by delivering leaflets, talking to residents, allowing us to erect posters on their land, and spreading our message across the villages. We also pay particular thanks to the disciplined, industrious, and strategic efforts of Paul Taylor who was our candidates' agent.
During our 8-week campaign, our candidates and team members delivered over 9,500 leaflets and 600 letters in our area. Our mobile phone apps came into use by giving us some useful, if not tiring statistics, on some days we walked over 14,000 steps each.
