Deborah says:
"This application will bring the total number of planning applications for Anstey village to over 1,440 houses. This will have a huge impact on Anstey with regard to traffic movements and our already stretched community services.
Paul says:
"We need to ensure that this planning application is assessed taking into account the additional 1,068 proposed housing applications already submitted, as this will have a huge impact on our village with regard to noise, air and ,traffic pollution"
Examples of reasons to object to this planning application are:
- Concerns over the impact on traffic, particularly on traffic volumes at the A46 and A50 Glenfield roundabout.
- Increase in noise pollution.
- Increase in air pollution.
- Contribution to reducing community cohesion.
- Lack of consideration of all the current planning applications submitted within Anstey Parish (over 1000 dwellings) and the cumulative effect.
- Increasing overdevelopment of Anstey.
- No information has been provided regarding the main arterial roads operated by Highways England.
- Highway and Pedestrian Safety.
- Impact on our already stretched Local Services.
- Effect on Woodland, Trees, and Wildlife.
- Site Unsustainable, the car would be the main form of Transport.
- Concerns over the number of new homes proposed and Anstey becoming over-developed and losing its village character.
