The bus stop on Leicester Road - The Nook has now been relocated to two replacement locations.
Please note that the bus companies have now advised their drivers that this bus stop is no longer operational so no buses will pick up from the old Leicester Road stop.
The new locations now are as follows:
- Stadon Road - This stop is located just past the intersection with Highfield Street and can be used for the Service 125 and First 74 bus services.
- Cropston Road - This stop is located outside of the QD discount store and can be used for the Centrebus 154 bus service.
If more convenient for you, you can also use the bus stop situated outside of Lucy's Cafe on Cropston Road for the First 74 bus service to loop around the village until it heads into Leicester.
We do hope that now this bus stop has been removed it will allow for an increased flow of traffic out of the village so that we have less congestion in and around The Nook.
