County Council Elections 6th May 2021
We are pleased to announce that Deborah Taylor, was successfully re-elected to represent the Bradgate villages in the elections held on Thursday 6th May 2021. The result can be found here
Deborah has lived in the Bradgate area for all her married life and has served as a local councillor for over 10 years. Her first Councillor role was at Anstey Parish Council, with most of that time spent as Vice-Chairman. Deborah has represented Anstey at Charnwood Borough Council for over six years, serving as a Cabinet Member for Communities, Wellbeing and Community Safety for three of those years. She has represented the Bradgate Division at Leicestershire County Council for four years and spent most of that time working within the Children & Families department, proudly taking over as Lead Member in the Cabinet in July 2020 for Children, Families and Community Safety.
Deborah has gained a huge amount of experience working full-time in her local Councillor roles and is able to deal with all issues brought to her. By knowing who to contact to get instant results, Deborah has made a big difference to residents’ well-being. She has dealt with many complex individual issues as well as larger community issues affecting our local Bradgate villages. In her spare time, Deborah enjoys walking with her two rescue dogs, spending time with family and friends, keeping active and meeting residents in our local villages.
